Car history: |
1969 Daytona Yellow Corvette Convertible that is in nice shape and a good driver. This one is equipped with its numbers matching 350/350hp engine and Muncie 4-Speed. The fiberglass body is in nice shape with no cracks. The only flaw is a tiny chip in the drivers door. The code 984 Daytona Yellow paint was done well and is very smooth with a nice finish. I found a small run behind the front bumper, which was the only finish flaw. It does have some chips and minor marks in the paint from being driven, nothing terrible. The doors and hood seem to line up about factory quality. The chrome bumpers appear to be original. The trim is in good shape. The convertible top is in very nice condition and looks to have been replaced recently. The interior is in good condition. It's either well kept original or has been redone a few years back. The carpet is in good shape with some minor discoloration. The code ZQ4 Black Vinyl seats are in nice shape with no tears. The drivers headrest has a crack on the top. The dash is in good condition as well as the console. The door panels are in good shape. The original AM/FM radio is still in place. A comfort grip steering wheel adds to the sporty appearance. This Vette retains its original 350/350hp engine. Backing the engine is a Muncie 4-speed that the owner states is original. She has manual steering and manual disc brakes for a vintage racer feel. The suspension sits right and rides well. She rides on Goodyear GT+4 radial tires on 15x8 Rally wheels. Overall, this is a decent car that looks to be an original car that has been restored where needed and enjoyed. It has a nice look to it and it does draw a lot of attention in the showroom. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is B18. $27,900. June 19,2010. |
